The Boyana waterfall is 25m high and it is the largest waterfall in Vitosha mountain. The area, in which it is located, has still largely preserved its natural state. During spring, when the sky is clear enough, it’s possible to see the Boyana waterfall from Sofia city as well. And in the winter, when the snow is melting from the mountain tops, the waterfall is even more visible against the background of the unleaded forest.

#sоSofia tip: Make sure you bring a warm layer, as the temperatures are lower the closer you get to the waterfall. But the view towards the city is well worth it!
