Quite possibly the most active gallery in the city where you can always catch a strong exhibition of contemporary Bulgarian art. The City Gallery has a collection of more than eight thousand artworks and specialises in several key areas – painting, sculpture, graphics, photography and contemporary art. The history of SCAG goes back to 1928 and through the years it has gradually become one of the most important cultural spaces in our city. Some of the sculptures in the gallery’s collection are located right next to the venue in the City Park.
