Make sure you take a warm coat with you; the closer you get to the waterfall, the colder it gets. But the view of the town is well worth it!
The Boyana Waterfall is 25 metres high and is the largest waterfall in the Vitosha Mountains. The area around the Boyana Waterfall has largely retained its natural beauty. In spring, when the sky is clear, the waterfall can be seen even from Sofia. And when the snow melts in the highest parts of Vitosha, the waterfall stands out even more against the backdrop of the bare forest.
