The non-governmental organisation ‘Institute of Contemporary Art’ (ICA) serves as a hub for many of Bulgaria’s most successful and active artists, curators, visual artists and theorists, with the aim of developing the cultural landscape and fostering international exchange among Bulgarian artists. ICA organises local and international exhibitions and events dedicated to the understanding and practice of 20th- and 21st-century visual arts.
