“SOL, like salt, is a bar that serves food. A little spot for people who love to ‘enjoy themselves’.” These are the words the owners use to introduce themselves to the general public. Casual yet cosy, unpretentious yet frequented by people with a distinct appreciation for food. It’s more like modern street food, perfect for old-school drinks. Despite the limited number of daily specials, you’ll always find something to your taste. We personally love their off-the-beaten-track offal dishes such as pork belly and ears, lamb’s tongues or duck liver and hearts. The drinks, however, are standard fare – don’t expect a barman with a twirled moustache.
