There is also a birdwatching trail – as mentioned, there are 65 species, 29 of which are protected, and 2 listed in Bulgaria’s Red Book. You can stroll along the park’s paths, learn about the various bird species and even see them in the wild in their natural habitat.

In addition, South Park offers other interesting sights, such as the large sundial made from benches. It is called the ‘Queen’s Clock of Friendship’ – a symbol of the importance of friendships in our lives.

The park was designed in the style of English landscape gardens. It comprises four main sections, which are adorned with flowers arranged in various geometric patterns.
